  • Teacher candidates own the appreciation about the policy and organizational context of the teaching-learning process in the local school.

  • Teacher candidates understand how the main concept, structure and process of the discipline they are going to teach and how to share learning experiences which make those aspects become meaningful to the students.

Principal Four: Pedagogical Knowledge and Ability

  • Teacher candidates plan, give and assess an effective number of instructions.
    • Element 1: Teacher candidates design a recognizable instruction based on the knowledge of subject taught, students, and community and curriculum objectives.
    • Element 2: Teacher candidates plan an instruction to reach the objectives which reflects the curriculum guidelines.

  • Teacher candidates are practitioners who always evaluate their choices and action towards others (friends, students and other people in the learning community), actively looking for opportunities to develop and have a variety of teaching techniques.
