PROGRAM OBJECTIVES
Bachelor Degree in Education or Program Sarjana Pendidikan (S.Pd.) is focused into the the educators’ development which reflects the values and demonstrated the personal and professional ability (knowledge/skill and values/attitude) to teach and lead the educational environment in Indonesia, which are now facing a fast social, cultural and economic alteration.
Principally, this program will prepare the teacher candidates to be able to:
- Understand the schools’s context and policy in Indonesia.
- Acquire the knowledge and skill suitable to teach English and Mathematics for Senior High School students in Indonesia
- Acquire the awareness and sensitivity of students’ necessities and interests as well as committed to students’ overall development
- Effectively teach and assess students with a variety of skills, interests and talents
- Use ICT and a different number of media to help the teaching-learning process
- Develop students’s ability for progressive way of thinking, such as to think critically, creatively and have the ability to solve a problem
- Develop the living skill in 21 century, such as the adaptation skills, a self-guidance which enables students to live in a more complex environment and be globally competitive, both in their personal and working life
- Graduate with high commitment towards educational system, education to the students and towards their profession, and
- Be committed to their professional development.
